6 The Container Terminal was privatized in 2001, and we took over and commenced operations onNovember 30ththat year. The Terminal entered the One Million TEU club in 2007. DP World Chennai is managed under a 30 year Build-Operate-Transfer agreement set up with theChennai Port Trust (ChPT) of the Government of India.
