CFS means CONTAINER Freight Station at the CCT. FCL means Containers said to contain Full CONTAINER Load. CONTAINER meansthestandardISOcontainer,suitablefor thetransportandstackingofcargoandmustbec apableofbeinghandled as a unit and lifted by a crane with a CONTAINER spreader. LCL means Containers said to contain Less than full CONTAINER Load ( CONTAINER having cargo of more than one importer/ CCTPL means CHENNAI CONTAINER TERMINAL Pvt Limited, a company incorporated in India its successors and assigns. Foreign-going Vessel shall mean any vessel other than a coastal vessel. CoastalVessel shallmeananyvesselexclusivelyemployedint radingbetweenanyportorplaceinIndiatoanyo therportorplace in India having a valid coastal license issued by the competent authority.)

2 OverDimensionalContainer meansaContainercarryingoverdimensionalca rgobeyondthenormalsizeofstandardcontaine rsandneedingspecialdeviceslikeslings,sha ckles,liftingbeam, (includingboxeshavingcorner casting problem) and CONTAINER requiring special devices for lifting is also classified as Over Dimensional CONTAINER . Hazardous CONTAINER means a CONTAINER containing hazardous goods as classified under IMO. ICD means Inland CONTAINER Depot. "FumigationFacility"meansfacilitatingdec ontaminationofcargowitharepronetobeaffec tedbypestsandwhichrequirespesticides to decontaminate by the way of fumigation or degassing or both. Per day means per calendar day or part thereof. Reefer meansanyContainerforthepurposeofthecarri ageofgoods,whichrequirepowersupplytomain tainthedesiredtemperature. Port means CHENNAI Port Trust. ShutOutContainer meansacontainer,whichhasenteredthetermin alforexportforavesselasindicatedbyVIAN andisnot connected to the vessel for whatsoever reason. Tonne means one metric Tonne of 1,000 kilograms or one cubic metre.

3 Transhipmentcontainer meansaContainerdischargedfromonevessel,s toredinCCTandtransportedthroughanotherve ssel. VIAN means Vessel Identification Advise Number."AccreditedClientsProgramme"means aprogrammebeingintroducedbytheCustomsDep artmentbywhichimportersregisteredbythede partmentas AccreditedClients ,orcaseswherespecificintelligenceisavail ableorwhereaspecificallyobservedpatterno fnon-complianceisrequiredtobeaddressed, ,clearancewouldbeallowedonthebasisofthei rdeclarations, ,thisbenefitwouldbeavailabletotheregiste red Accredited Clients at all the ports in the country where EDI and the RMS are (i)(ii).(iii).(iv). (i)(ii).
