2 The performance featured 65 children singing, reading, and dancing to an audience of 100. The final production was amazing! 3 Distinct rhythm. Teaching the skill of starting and stopping with direction was crucial for education and production to take place. Strategies/Activities Reading stories, singing stories, matching word to word and then word to picturesKeeping beat to abab patternsWe were able to slow down the music so the children had an easier time keeping the rhythm. As the children experienced success, the music was able to be sped groups of children were instructed in 20 minute intervals on the songs and books they would sing for the production.

4 The music teacher planned the production so that the production flowed from one group to another. Culminating ActivityProduction songs and stories following an Hawaiian theme to an audience of district personnel, parents, teachers, and other students. We were honored that the district superintendent came to the production. There were rave reviews from everyone. Evaluation MethodFinal production was the performance to an audience. The audience sent notes and letters to the teachers involved. The comments ! AMAZING! Phenomenal!
