7 CHROMELEON can be ordered with full control of Dionex DX-600, DX-500, DX-320, BioLC, DX-120 instruments, Summit HPLC, and certain third party instruments and devices including the Agilent 5890 GC, 6890 GC, and 1100 HPLC. In addition, version now offers full support for the LC Packings UltiMate Capillary LC and Nano LC systems, the Switchos pump and the FAMOS autosampler. The details are described in chapter on page 63 and following. Based on many user suggestions and requests, the usability has been enhanced with this release by implementing the following features: Move action in the Browser ( page 18) Similar to the move in the Windows Explorer CHROMELEON objects can be moved in the CHROMELEON browser.

8 This includes signed sequences. All related history and audit trail information is kept in the context of the move operations Accelerator/Hotkeys in the Integration View (0 page 26) The typical power user knows and is used to operate applications via accelerator keys on the keyboard. Now such keys are available to scroll the chromatogram, scale the chromatogram or select a peak. Pick list for electronic signature comments ( page 59) The functionality of the pick list has been copied from the Modification History Comment to the electronic signature comment dialog.

9 Comments can be easily selected. In addition, administrators can establish default lists that the user can select from. Default Report Definition (RDF) for electronically signed reports (0 page 39) A report has been created that gives on the cover page a comprehensive overview of some sequence details and presents the signature elements as requested from 21 CFR Part 11. The cover page can be copied to existing reports to update them with 21 CFR Part 11 required elements. 10 An SST summary (0) has been implemented that allows you to create a comprehensive consolidated SST report over the tests and test results of a sequence. Another major new feature is the import of Agilent ChemStation legacy data into CHROMELEON ( ). This feature allows comparing data previously acquired with the ChemStation inside the unique CHROMELEON Chromatography Management System. The import function includes the following files: Channel raw data UV/VIS 3D field raw data Sequences Batches Single Samples Methods UV/VIS spectra libraries Power users will find additional calculation and validation options: Show Formulas in the Integration and Report Layout View (0 page 37) The function displays and prints all formulas that are used in a specific report.
