1 CIGNA / MVP HEALTH CARE. Fact Sheet CIGNA entered into a strategic alliance with MVP HEALTH Care on July 1, 2007. Under this strategic alliance arrangement (also referred to as a marketing affiliation), CIGNA and MVP jointly market in a select geographic area. What you should know: Individuals covered by MVP HEALTH Care can access care through the MVP HEALTH Care network of participating HEALTH care professionals in that select geographic area. In all other locations, individuals can access care through the CIGNA network. Individuals with CIGNA coverage can access care through the MVP HEALTH Care network of participating HEALTH care professionals in that select geographic area. In all other locations, individuals can access care through the CIGNA . network. The patient identification card contains direction for claims submission, customer service, and other important information.
