1 CINCINNATI DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY Pre-DA 2017 -2018 Information Packet WHY DID CUP AND KHA COME TOGETHER? CINCINNATI United and Kings Hammer wanted to create the most competitive environment for elite players in CINCINNATI . We felt that two clubs aligned in vision and philosophies could come together at the highest level to bring something great to the city! CDA CLUB STRUCTURE CDA is comprised of ten teams. Six of these teams will compete in USYS/US Club and four of these teams will compete in the US Soccer DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY in the following age groups.

6 CINCINNATI DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY TRYOUT PROCEDURES There is NO charge for tryouts. Please come prepared with a fully inflated soccer ball, proper footwear, shin guards, and water. WHO NEEDS TO TRYOUT All soccer-athletes wishing to play for a CDA team should attend the appropriate tryout. Soccer-Athletes that cannot attend tryouts must notify a director via email 2 weeks prior to the date of the posted tryout. WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR TRYOUTS 1) Prospective soccer-athletes MUST COMPLETE CINCINNATI DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY tryout registration before participating in the tryout process.

7 This can be completed online at *Please make sure that you register online at least 24 hours in advance to ensure that the soccer-athlete is in the system and we have your information to notify you after the tryout process. 2) Each prospective soccer-athlete will receive a free CDA tryout t-shirt with a tryout identification number on the back of the t-shirt. Each prospective player will be identified by the identification number throughout the process and must wear this t-shirt at each tryout session for the 2017 /2018 soccer year.

8 3) Each soccer-athlete that is offered a position will be notified and respond in a timely matter to accept their position with CDA. Upon acceptance, a non-refundable fee will be required to hold your player s roster spot. 4) Should you have questions regarding CDA, please contact Tiffany Roberts or Bobby Puppione at the end of each tryout. 9 The above are only club fees. CINCINNATI DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY FEES INCLUDE CDA club fees include all soccer related expenses- fees for coaches, facilities, one league, administration, etc. Team Fees will be done on a team by team basis and will be for expenses such as tournaments, leagues, referee fees, additional turf rentals, indoor rentals, etc. Does Not Include: Uniforms and Personal Travel to/from soccer events. CINCINNATI DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY PAYMENT INFORMATION CINCINNATI DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY is a non-profit organization. Our fees are set to balance the growth of our Soccer Club with the needs of our soccer-athletes and families.

10 Fees are based on a full soccer year . Fall Season: Aug-Oct (U14) Winter I Season: Nov-Dec Winter II Season: Feb-Mar Spring Season: April May Families have 2 options when making a CDA fee payment after the deposit has been paid: 1) Full payment of balance. 2) AUTO payment of installments using online payment system. When Are My Fees Due? The fees are broken down into separate payments to ease the financial burden. Required Deposit due within 48 hours of position acceptance o $350 Acceptance Six Installments due on the following dates: o June 15- $190 o August 15- $190 o October 15- $190 o February 15- $190 o March 15- $190 Team Fees Broken Down Into 2 Installments o August 1 (U14) o September 1 (U15-U19) o February 1 (U14-U19) What happens if I can t make my installment payment(s)?
