1 CIRCULAR TO MACKAY SUGAR cane GROWERS Dear grower CANEGROWERS MACKAY and the ACFA as grower representative groups of the Bargaining Agents have had a series of meetings with MACKAY SUGAR to determine the starting date for MACKAY SUGAR s three mills for 2012. This has been an intensive process with a range of reports and considerations, including crop maturity and long term weather forecasts. We have unanimously agreed that the starting dates for MACKAY SUGAR factories will be as follows: 28 May - Racecourse Mill 29 May Farleigh Mill 30 May Marian Mill We are anticipating an improved crop this year and appreciate that a concerted effort by everyone will be required to harvest this season s crop.
