EXECUTIVE SUMMARY. The Sustainable Design Strategy (2013) is an update of council's Sustainable Design Strategy and Policy (2006). The new Strategy incorporates a revised Sustainable Design Policy and reinforces council's philosophy of creating Sustainable buildings which collectively contribute to a more Sustainable urban environment .

8 This Strategy synergises the evolving changes within the Design and construction industry in response to Sustainable development by providing a framework that supports the integration of Sustainable Design early in the Design process where the most economical Town Hall Extension, Finalist for Best Non and Sustainable outcomes can be achieved.
