1 Clinical Opportunities for Summer 2021 Please note that this is not an exhaustive list AND some deadlines are in January and February. Check the websites for dates and application information! Project L/EARN The Summer program is an intensive ten-week internship opportunity for qualified students who would like to obtain research skills and "hands-on" experience in health services research under the guidance of a distinguished faculty mentor. Information and an application can be found at: Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Summer Clinical Internship Program Participants will have the opportunity to shadow Clinical faculty members at the medical facilities in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

2 Distinguished faculty from a variety of specialties will host students. Students will be paired with faculty in specialties representing students interests. The program runs 5 days a week for 6 weeks. Program dates will be released shortly. Information and an application can be found at: Princeton HealthCare System s Pre-Health Professional Volunteer Program will provide Opportunities for undergraduate students to explore the health sciences field before making applications to medical school or other professional graduate programs.

3 This program will operate from the first week of June until the first week of August. Information and an application can be found at: Hackensack s Volunteer Summer Clinical Research Frequently asked questions relating to the program can be found here: Information and an application can be found at: 2020 U Massachusetts Medical School Combined Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunity is a non-credit, ten-week, structured research experience sponsored by UMMS Office of Outreach Programs. The program consists of "hands-on" laboratory research with an investigator serving as a mentor, role model and advisor.

Skype interviews will take place in February 2021. Final decisions of acceptance will be made on or about March 30, 2021. This program runs from May 31, 2021 and ends on June 26 2021. For more information, go to: +professionals/helpful+resources/overloo k+ Summer +internship+program/ Children s Hospital of Philadelphia Summer research Opportunities Paid Summer internships (non- Clinical and project-based learning) with Newton Hospital During the program, you will shadow these professionals in one-day rotations to see what life is like in each particular field.

5 Rotations include experience in the operating room, emergency department, hospital floors, physician offices or meetings. You will have the opportunity to interact on a personal basis with the health care professionals. Each day, Monday through Friday, begins with a one-hour discussion led by a professional who will discuss his or her field. The focus of this group will be on the lifestyle and the pros and cons of each field. This program lasts 8-10 consecutive weeks throughout the Summer . The application is available on Nov. 6 2020 and the application submission deadline for this program is February 1, 2021. Four weeks in various departments 3 different sessions available Summer Medical and Dental Education Program. Six week Summer program that offers first year and sophomore students intensive and personalized medical and dental school preparation.
