Guidelines and Selection Procedure for Admission in (3+1) year UG (Honor s) Bachelor s Degree Programmes. 1. Candidates are advised to go through the detailed admission notification thoroughly before submitting the online application form for admission and follow the instructions, available on the website, carefully before filling-up the relevant fields/columns of the application form.

The main features of the programme are:- All Bachelor s Degree programmes are full-time regular courses for the specified duration as per National Education Policy (NEP-2020), with Multiple Entry and Exit systems at various stages, from the academic session 2022-23 for newly admitted students. As per the UGC Guidelines for Multiple Entry and Exit in Academic Programmes offered in Higher Education Institutions, after completing the requirements of a three-year Bachelor s Degree, candidates who secure a minimum CGPA of shall be allowed to continue studies in the fourth year of the undergraduate programme to pursue and complete the Bachelor s Degree with Research/ Honor s. After successful completion of the 6th Semester, they have to choose to pursue a Degree with Research or Degree with Honor s. Those students who will not secure CGPA up to the 6th Semester will be awarded Bachelor s Degree as they will have to exit the Bachelor s Degree Programme after completing the 6th Semester. 5 Degree 4 1st 8th Candidate has to complete successfully all the courses offered in 1st to 8th semesters. Degree with Research/Honor s 3. Candidates having passed the qualifying examination (10+2) with required percentage and subject combination reflected in the eligibility column of notification are only eligible to apply for online admission through student s sign-in facility at UNIVERSITY website 4. Candidates are required to submit online application forms, available on the UNIVERSITY website and upload marks card of 10+2, reservation certificate (if any) and provisional/character certificate of the last attended institute. 5. A candidate has to deposit online non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred Rupees Only).Candidates desirous to apply for Integrated Programmes have to apply separately for that programmes. 6. A candidates can choose any of the above mentioned subject as a Discipline Specific Core Course (DSCC-A) as major subject/course and rest of the subjects DSCC-B (minor subject), Discipline Specific Elective (DSE)/Open Elective (OE)/Generic Elective (GE), Skill and Ability Enhancement (AE) subjects shall be allotted by the concerned college during the admission/counselling process from the table given below.

The selection of candidate for admission in each programme/course (major subject)shall be made strictly on the basis of eligibility required for each programme specified above, overall academic merit obtained by the candidate in (10+ 2) examination and his/her preferences exercised for major subject & college and availability of the seats in each programme/course.

8 Application Form shall be rejected if candidates fails to prove his/her eligibility and fail to upload the required documents. 8. For programmes like , BBA and Home Science selection of the candidate shall be made for steam opted by the candidate and allocation of the major, minor, DSE/OE, AE subjects etc. shall be made during admission process at college level. 9. Reservation policy shall be implemented as per 127 dated: - 20-04-2020 read with 249 dated: - 23-07-2021 of seats in the Govt. Colleges. Selection of the candidates from the reserved categories shall be made strictly on the basis of academic merit and validity of respective reserved category certificates as the case may be. No under process certificate shall be accepted at any cost. 10. Mere submission of Application Form by the candidate does not confer his/her any right to admission in any programme of the UNIVERSITY . Admission of candidates shall be governed by the Admission Policy of the UNIVERSITY .

Admission Committee of each Constituent/Affiliated College will check/verify the original copies of educational/category certificates etc of the candidate at the time of Admission and it will be the sole responsibility of the candidate to satisfy whether he/she is meeting the prescribed criteria. 12. Admission/Selection of the candidate shall be strictly provisional and subject to verification of documents, made at any point of time during the admission process. The admission will be rejected if the applicant does not fulfill the eligibility criteria or has misrepresented/suppressed the information regarding category and other details. 13. Selection list of the candidates for each programme shall be available on the UNIVERSITY & constituent/affiliated college s websites. Selected candidates shall have to deposit UNIVERSITY & college component of the Annual Admission Fee separately, reflected on the pay-in slips to be issued at the concerned college where admission is sought.

10 14. Candidates are advised to remain in touch with the UNIVERSITY website and are required to submit their registered personal address for further information, updates and correspondence. 15. Notification for various 5-Year Integrated Programmes shall be issued separately. Aspiring candidates desirous to seek admission have to apply separately in response to the up-coming Admission Notification No-2.
