These savings are passed on to dealers who have subscribed to receive the tools. The Subscription process relieves those in the Dealership responsible for ordering new Service tools during the Program Price discount period. Subscribed Dealers can have confidence in knowing they will have the necessary tools on hand to Service the products sold in their trade area.

2 Having the necessary tools on hand can keep customer down time to a minimum and improve your Service department customer satisfaction levels. Q) How can I feel confident CNH will not load me up with unnecessary tools? A) For a tool to be considered Mandatory it must meet one or more of the following criteria: Safety tool provides a safe means of servicing a component Labour Saver Tools that save considerable time Accurate Repair Tools to do a job accurately that would be extremely difficult without damaging parts and components using conventional tools. No other way to do the Job There are no conventional tools that can be used to do the job. Q) Is our Dealership expected to subscribe for all products CNH offers for sale, Large 4WD tractors, large square balers ? A) NO - Dealers should subscribe to receive tools only for product lines they sell and/or Service in their dealer area.

3 Q) Is my Dealership required to subscribe for all Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 tools for products sold in my trade area? A) NO, but not subscribing for Level 1, 2 or 3 tools could result in you paying significantly higher prices for the tools later or experiencing lengthy backorders for tools you may need immediately. Q) What tools will be considered Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 tools? A) Level 1 tools are required for the following types of Service : Testing and Diagnostics (example:- product specific hydraulic test point connections and electrical test cables) Adjustments (example:- Tools required to calibrate, adjust components or setup the machine at PDI) External machine repairs (example:- tools required for replacing front axle seals) Level 2 tools are required to repair internal parts and components in a machine.

4 Rebuild and overhaul tools. (example:- transmission and engine rebuild tools) Level 3 tools are safety related tools Lifting or security tools, (example:- all tools requiring safety certification, lifting connections or non standard support stands) Q) Some tools are very expensive. Do I have the option to refuse certain tools due to their high cost? A) If you are subscribed you cannot refuse to accept tools however, any single tool and/or any single kit of tools with a Subscription price in excess of 3000 will not be ordered automatically under the Subscription program. A special tool announcement will be issued and your Dealership will be given the option to purchase the tool or not. Q) How do I subscribe? A) To access the Subscription form from the Dealer Portal, click on the Links tab and then under Parts/ Service heading, click on the Service tool Subscription link.

5 You will be required to enter your Dealer Code (eg:- 123-123456), Your ASAP Code (eg:- 12345) and your password. Please see the launch bulletin for your initial password. Q) If our Dealership Subscribes, when will tools begin shipping under the Subscription process? A) Any tool /s released in announcements dated after March 1st, 2010 will ship under the Subscription process. Q) How will my dealership be charged for the tools that are shipped to us under the Subscription process? A) Tools will be charged to your dealership through CNH Parts as before. Q) Can I make revisions to my Subscription ? A) YES - You will be able to revise your Service tool Subscription at any time. Your Subscription revision will become active upon approval by your area Service Manager. Q) Under the Subscription process, can I return tools I decide I don t want or need?

6 A) Once you have subscribed to a specific product line, the tools will be shipped automatically. You are not able to return automatically shipped tools to CNH or the CNH tool supplier. Q) Will my Dealership still be able to purchase Service tools if we do not subscribe? A) Yes, you will still be able to order the tools, but there will be no discounted price, and a longer delivery time as we cannot forecast demand. Q) If my Dealership subscribes to Level 1 tools for a specific product, but not Level 2, will we be able to order Level 2 tools and receive the Subscription price for those Level 2 tools? A) No, You will be able to order the tools, but there will be no discounted Subscription price. Q) My Dealership is subscribed to receive one Level 1 tool for a specific product, but we want to order five of that specific tool .

7 How do I do this and will I get the Subscription price? A) If you are subscribed to receive specific tools, your will be able to order additional quantities of a specific tool with discounted pricing. When the Bulletin is released with the tool announcement, all subscribed dealers will have 30 days to order additional quantities of tools at the Subscription price. Q) How soon will tools be delivered if I am subscribed. A) For a new product launch, we will ship the tools on a priority bases to ensure they are with your dealership when the product arrives. Q) If I do not subscribe for tools, when will they be delivered A) As you will need to order the tools, and the volume will not be forecast, there will be a 60 - 90 day delivery time.
