Amen.*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostle s Creed (Unison)I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the third day He rose from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

5 I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic CHURCH , the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.*HYMN OF PREPARATION Now Thank We All Our God No. 374 SCRIPTURE Matthew 11: 16-19To what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others: We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn. For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He has a demon. The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners. But wisdom is proved right by her deeds. (Leader).

9 But is it just a book, or is it much more? We believe that the Bible is God s Word to us something that everyone should be able to understand in their own language. But more than 1,600 languages around the world are still waiting for a translation project to begin. When people finally get the Bible in their own language, lives often change in amazing ways. People are transformed as they are led to Jesus Christ and a right relationship with God. That s why Wycliffe Bible Translators exists to help these remaining languages get the Bible for themselves. And we won t stop until all people have God s Word in a language they donate to the Mission of the Month, please use the envelope in the pew or go to GIVE online at BIBLE TRANSLATORSM ission of the MonthSpecial MusicCall the CHURCH Office for contact information 941-778-0414.
