1 Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) & Planning obligations (s106) in Isleworth & BrentfordTheo DennisonCabinet Member for Finance & Citizen Engagements106 Under CIL Regulations1. The Council adopted Hounslow CIL on 24 July 20152. Prior to that s106 was the primary means of collecting developer contributions 3. Now CIL is the principal mechanism for collecting contributions from developers4. But s106 is not replaced, it is just significantly scaled back5. Councils are under a duty to report annually on how much CIL has been spent and on whatReporting Arrangements for s106 and CIL1. The council is required to report on CIL revenue and expenditure annually and to keep things simple we have adopted the same rules for s106 The latestreport can be found at: Previous reports are available The council sends a copy of these reports to all members annually by email4.
