4 Anautomated control system providescontinuous monitoring of each unit andperforms quality control checks asequipment progresses through the pro-duction process. An automated end ofline run test verifies component func-tionality Units are produced in an ISO9001 production gage galvanized sheet metalcabinet construction designed withlarge access panels for easy mainte-nance and service. Cabinet interior sur-faces are lined with 1/2 in. thick, 11/2lb fiberglass insulation. Sheet metalsurfaces are treated for maximumcorrosion protection to provide resil-ience for long term vitality.

5 Compactcabinet dimensions fit tight space lim-itations in both horizontal and Aquazone units include arotary compressor in sizes 007-018and a scroll compressor in size 024-070 units. Compressors are mountedon a double isolated system ( , fromthe cabinet) that maximizes vibrationisolation and minimizes transmission tothe unit refrigerant (R-410A) Puron refrigerant (R-410A) is anonchlorine based environmentallybalanced, non-ozone depleting refriger-ant. Puron refrigerant characteristics,compared to R-22, have: Binary and near azeotropic mixtureof 50% R-32 and 50% R-125.

6 Higher efficiencies (50 to 60%higher operating pressures). Virtually no glide. Unlike other alter-native refrigerants, the two compo-nents in Puron refrigerant havevi rtually the same leak , refrigerant can be added ifnecessary. Permanent split capacitor motors(PSC)The standard motor for all 50 PCmodel heat Pumps is a PSC motor. Forall models other than 575-volt units,the supplied motor has 3-speed tapsfor field adjustability. The 575V motorhas a single speed bracketsAll horizontal units come standard withhanging bracket kits for suspending theunit from field-supplied hanger kits include heavy duty steelbrackets and rubber grommets forsound and vibration isolation from thebuilding structure.

7 Water connectionsAll Water connections are heavy dutybronze FPT fittings securely fastened tothe unit corner post. This allows con-necting to a flexible hose kit withoutthe use of a backup wrench making foreasier, faster circuitAll units have a sealed refrigerant cir-cuit including a high-efficiency rotaryor scroll compressor. Simplified refrig-erant circuits provide easy mainte-nance, higher accuracy and excellentperformance. Also, standard are areversing valve (4-way valve), Water -to-refrigerant coaxial (tube-in-tube) coil,and enhanced aluminum fin/rifled cop-per tube air-to-refrigerant heatexchanger units have AHRI (Air-Condi-tioning, Heating, and RefrigerationInstitute)/ISO, NRTL (Nationally Rec-ognized Testing Lab), or CSA (Cana-dian Standards Association) labels andare factory tested under normal operat-ing conditions at nominal Water flowrates.
