1 Company Profile History The switchcraft LLC, founded in the year 2000, is an internationally expanding manufacturer of high-quality medium-voltage systems and turnkey solutions for smart grid and smart metering networks. The goal was initially to develop new switchgears to overcome the traditional limits and to produce and sell electrical switchgear with the newest generation equipped with pole - technology and magnetic drives.

2 In 2004 the development of gas-insulated switchgear and modern ring main units has been added. The switchcraft Europe GmbH, founded in the year 2006, is located in Dinslaken (NRW), Germany. The Company is involved with the development, manufacturer, installation and sale for switchgear systems. In 2007 switchcraft set a major milestone in the switchgear industry with the development and patenting of the smart, solid-insulated switchgear iSIS. To extend the business coverage worldwide a partnership with the Easun Reyrolle Ltd has been started in 2008.
