To become familiar with the tank configuration of the aircraft , review the diagram below. Completion of the FPW for a 747 is best managed in three parts, including: 1. The information to be completed before arriving at the aircraft . 2. The information to be completed from the aircraft after arrival. 3. 6 In the Fuel Density = box, write the density of the day reading (if not known, use ). Multiply the Added Gals (per meter) by the Fuel Density, and write the result in the Added Fuel Lbs box. Round this number to the nearest whole number and write it in the Added Fuel Lbs = box. Add the numbers in the Remaining Lbs + and the Added Fuel Lbs = boxes, and write the result in the Total Calculated Lbs box.
