5 In TICA, to qualify for as a Lifetime Achievement Winner (LA), a cat must earn three top 20 international and regional awards as a cat, kitten or an alter. At least one win must be an international one. A regional win in the same category and same year as an international win will not count. This for a breeder is one of the highest honors a cat can receive. But Desdemona attained this feat in style, as with everything this minx does. Desdemona was a gift to me from Paul and Ramona Shuba, of Shubacoons Maine Coons. I know how hard it was for them to part with her, but I promised I would love and show her to the best of my ability.

8 And that I did with the help of Ramona and Paul and my other breeders friends and family cheering us on. She became a National Winner in the 2005-2006 show season and to date remains the highest scor-ing and ranking Maine Coon kitten in the history of our breed and the only one to be highest scoring long hair kitten, premiership or championship Maine Coon nationally. Desi is the progeny of a National Winner, GC NW Mckittycreek T Ruxpin of Shubacoons and Shuba-coons Spumoni of The Cat Spa. But Desi did not stop there. 9 Trust me, I have tried her with others, but to no avail, it is only Walrus she wants. Her qualifying offspring are: Desi loves to travel around the country and visit her extended family. We call it going on holiday. Al-though I miss her while she is visiting Walrus, I know that she is gracing others with her sweetness and I am glad to share her with the people who made this all possible.
