2 This tool gives point and click access to cook 's entire line of fans, blowers, gravity ventilators, energy recovery ventilators and laboratory exhaust systems. Simply select a fan model, enter air flow and pressure in either English or metric units and all possible fans are displayed. A comprehensive, cross-reference interface allows the user to select fans based upon the product specifications of any major manufacturer. The Tools Menu includes these proven timesavers: Fan Law Calculator, Duct Designer, Psychrometric Calculator, English-Metric Converter, Sound Converter, and Annual Energy Cost Estimator.

3 New features and functions in Compute-A-Fan : Laboratory Exhaust Fans - New QMX-VP mixed flow and CA-VP centrifugal Vari-Plume laboratory exhaust fans, as well as TCH-LE and CP-LE curb mounted laboratory exhaust fans are now available for selection. All selections include fan curves, plume height charts, flow diagrams and drawings that can be viewed, printed or saved to .pdf for e-mailing. Autodesk Revit Models and Add-In - FanDrafter now includes Autodesk Revit families for every model and configuration of loren cook product. A Revit add-In is also included that simplifies the placement and customization of the cook model in your projects.

4 Favorite Fans, Recent Fans and Jobs - Recently saved fans and jobs are now listed on the home screen for quick access. You can also create a list of favorite fans by right-clicking a recent fan and selecting 'Add to Favorites'. Additional program highlights include: Automatic Updates keep you current with the latest updates - automatically. Electronic versions of all printed catalogs and IOM manuals are included. Select By Application allows the user to identify and select fans that meet specific application criteria. Group Selection of multiple fan models for comparison.

FanDrafter 2D and FanDrafter 3D for Autodesk Revit MEP 2011 : FanDrafter 2D is a CAD template package that can insert accurate, scaled, 2D depictions of our products into architectural drawings. Nearly 5,000 drawings, representing plan and elevation views of every cook model, size and configuration are included. A customized menu system for AutoCAD is in cluded. FanDrafter 3D includes Autodesk Revit families for every model and configuration of loren cook product.

6 Each 3D parametric Revit family is a full-scale representation of the product and contains all sizes available for that model. Each family includes information on duct connection size, electrical connection location, mounting holes (where applicable) as well as attributes for airflow, static pressure, RPM, horsepower, voltage, phase, etc. FanDrafter also includes a Revit add-in that simplifies the placement and customization of the cook models in your projects. This add-in links to the schedule information that is exported from Compute-A-Fan and automatically populates an extensive list of up to 70 parameters such as airflow, static pressure, fan rpm, horsepower, voltage, phase, etc when models are placed.

7 The add-in even includes a customization module that allows you to match cook parameter names to your company's standard parameters ensuring uniform equipment schedules.
