1 Cosumnes Power Plant Mainsaver Upgrade San Diego, CA February 15, 2018: Nestled in the beautiful farm and ranch community of Herald, Ca, Cosumnes Power quietly and cleanly produces Power for the local communities. For several years, the Plant has managed maintenance and procurement with Mainsaver Software Asset Management Software. In 2017, the Plant upgraded to Mainsaver version which offers an updated user interface and the ability to create user specific dashboards. Additionally, Cosumnes has added the Mainsaver Connect module which provides tablet and other browser based device support for work management and material transactions. Mainsaver is essential in the daily operation of the Plant . Operators may enter work requests which are evaluated and approved into work orders. Work orders are prioritized and scheduled. PM work order are generated weekly.
2 Maintenance technicians close work orders and charge out materials as applicable. The system allows for electronic routing and approval of purchase requests and converting those requests into purchase orders. Cosumnes Power continues to work with Mainsaver Professional Services to review processes and improve their maintenance optimization strategy.
