4 Themodel designator for these aircraft are as follows: crj700 : CL-600-2C10 CRJ900: CL-600-2D24 CRJ705: CL-600-2D15 General features of the crj700 , CRJ900 and CRJ705 aircraftinclude: Quiet, fuel efficient, high bypass turbofan engines. State-of-the-art avionics system featuring six glass displays,digital data communications and an advanced maintenancediagnostic system. Advanced technology wings with polished leading edge slats. Modern airframe structure with composite material used innon-structural areas. Class C forward and aft cargo compartments with convenientexternal access. Wide fuselage with 4 abreast seating. Several configuration options for location of lavatories andgalley. Flexible cabin layout options including mixed seat-pitch andtwo class OF crj700 , CRJ900 AND CRJ705 The CL-600-2C10 aircraft is the first variant of the improvements include but are not limited to a longerfuselage, FADEC-controlled engines, a new wing with leadingedge slats, a forward cargo compartment, and upgradedautomated aircraft systems.

5 This aircraft is marketed as theCRJ700 (68 seats), the CRJ701 (70 seats) and the CRJ702 (77seats). It is available in a standard or extended range CL-600-2D24 aircraft is the second variant of the improvements (compared to the CRJ200 series aircraft )include but are not limited to a longer fuselage, FADEC-controlledengines, a new wing with leading edge slats, a forward cargocompartment, and upgraded automated aircraft systems. Thisaircraft is marketed as the CRJ900 (up to 90 seats). It, too, isavailable in standard or extended range , short field takeoff and landing performance improvementswere introduced. Performance improvements consisted of alarger wingspan due to bigger winglets, software changes, newslat/flap relationship with an added selection of Flap 20, and anoptional long range CL-600-2D15 aircraft is the third CRJ200 variant.

6 This variantis identical to the improved CL-600-2D24 series 900 aircraftexcept that it is only certified for a maximum of 75 passengersand is marketed as the CRJ705 (75 seats). 9 CRJ705/900: a 90 in (229 cm) structural plug is installed forwardof the wing box on the center fuselage rear fuselage contains the pylon structure, rear pressurebulkhead, cargo compartment, support structure for the verticalstabilizer, the aft equipment bay and tail : a 62 in ( cm) structural plug is installed aft ofthe wing box on the center fuselage pressure bulkheads and a pressure floor make the mid-center fuselage D shaped. This provides an area external to thepressure zone where the wing attaches to the fuselage. CRJ705/900: has a reinforced : a dorsal strake is installed on top of the fuselage of theCRJ700 to make an aerodynamic transition between the top ofthe fuselage and the leading edge of the vertical : the dorsal strake is not installed on the aircraft ,however ventral fins are installed on the base of the fuselage.

Relative to theCRJ700, the ventral fins offset the effects of the fuselage stretchand eliminates the need for the fuselage upper single piece wing is an all-metal structure consisting ofmachined upper and lower aluminum alloy planks with integralstringers covering the spar, ribs and a central box : a new winglet is installed which increases thewingspan by 5 ft, 4 auxiliary rear spar provides structural support for the mainlanding gear trunnion.
