5 2012 All Rights ReservedThe CrossFlow Separator takes up very little floor space. The unit measures 48" widex 14" deep x 24" tall. In most instances the Separator can be attached to existingparts washers or other structures. We sell an optional stand that provides for ease ofinstallation. Due to the nature of the gravity discharge, our Separator needs to beinstalled with the outlet port above the level of the fluid that it is cleaning. The standard suction skimmer that is included with our systems requires an area of12" x 12" x 18" deep within the source tank where it will be installed.

6 Other suctionskimmers are available to deal with restricted space constrains, shallow fluid levelsand large fluid level fluctuations. SizingOur multi-patented SmartSkim Suction skimmer is mounted in your tankand continuously removes the topmost oily layer. Skimmed oily fluids arepumped through the Separator where floatingcontaminants are separated. Clean fluids returnby gravity to the source tank. Inside theSmartSkim CrossFlow , there is no plasticcoalescer media, filters, or consumables of anykind. Our proprietary open channel platepacksystem separates and removes floating oils andsolids by gravity only.

7 This makes maintenance fast and easy. Open channelsdo not plug. SmartSkim systems just run and run. Oil that is captured insidethe Separator gravity drains automatically to acapture drum. This oil is typically dry enough tosell or recycle. No electrical panels or hook ups arenormally necessary. The CrossFlow System isentirely pneumatic.
