1 Daniel Smead Berry September 5, 1938 -- August 28, 2016 Berry , Daniel Smead passed away peacefully on August 28, 2016. Of Fox Point; previously a longtime resident of Whitefish Bay. Born in Rahway, New Jersey on September 5, 1938 to Daniel Smead Berry (Sr.) and Ruth M. Berry . Dan is survived by his loving wife of nearly 54 years, Carolyn McIntosh Berry . Beloved father of Diane Berry Jakubowski (Brian) and Timothy Smead Berry . Adored grandfather of Daniel and Audrey. Cherished brother of Kay Andersen and Martha Berry . Brother-in-law to Richard and Jackie McIntosh, Philip Briguglio, the late Larry McIntosh, and the late Donald Andersen.

2 Further survived by dear nieces and nephews, and many other cousins, relatives, and friends. Dan attended Cranford High School in New Jersey and later attended The Peddie School in Hightstown. He earned his in 1961 at Dartmouth College, where he was a member of the basketball team and Phi Delta Alpha fraternity. Moving to Milwaukee in 1965, he worked as an electrical manufacturers' representative and started his own successful business, the Berry Company. Dan was widely known as a fun-loving gentleman with a good heart and sharp sense of humor. He and wife Carolyn shared many laughs over the years, right to the end.

3 Dan enjoyed golf and was a member of Tripoli Country Club for 40 years; he also had a cherished and long-standing group of poker friends for even more years. The family would like to thank the staff at Lakefield Adult Day Center in Grafton who provided caring assistance and social engagement in his last years. Diane and Tim would also like to thank their mother for the relentless and exhaustive care giving she provided to their father for many years during his decline due to dementia, providing the ultimate example of love and honor until death do we part. Private family services have been held.
