1 August 30, 2011 Dear FIERCE supporter , On Saturday, October 22nd 2011, FIERCE will proudly present the FIERCELY Supernatural InvinciBowl, our 4th annual Bowl-A-Thon Fundraiser! We are thrilled to be reaching out to you about sponsoring our event and supporting FIERCE . FIERCE is a membership-based organization building the leadership and power of LGBTQ youth of color in New York City. Since 2000, we ve been developing politically conscious leaders who are invested in improving ourselves and our communities through youth-led campaigns, leadership development programs, and cultural expression through arts and media. The bowl-a-thon is a much-anticipated youth-organized grassroots fundraising event that brings together over 200 FIERCE members and community members who form teams to raise $30,000 to support FIERCE .

2 Teams reach out to their friends and families for contributions. Then on October 22nd, everyone comes together for a fun-filled supernatural-themed costumed bowling party! FIERCE relies on the support of organizations like yours to make this event a success and help us raise our fundraising goal. Ways To Become A Bowl-a-thon Sponsor: Create an Organizational Team: Do you belong to an organization, school or business? Register your organizational team and be prepared to bowl your shoes off for a great cause. Teams are asked to raise $600, but you can and should aim to raise more! Become a Team Match Sponsor: FIERCE developed a new sponsorship level that gives our supporters even more ways to contribute to the Bowl-a-thon while encouraging FIERCE youth members to meet their fundraising goals. Team Match Sponsorships allow you to match teams that are organized by FIERCE members with a donation of $500.
