2 The Dearborn Scholarship is available for up to four years of a student s academic career. The Dearborn Scholarship Fund has helped more than 100 students to obtain a college education, said Linda Reed, president of the Montana Community Foundation, the Helena-based organization that administers the Dearborn Scholars program. The generosity of the Siebel Foundation helps talented students who may be the First in their families to complete a post-secondary education with the rising cost of college tuition. University of Montana Rodeo Team members are student-athletes whose responsibilities include representing the university and the community. Four team members earned a Dearborn Scholarship this year.

3 Students who make the rodeo team have demonstrated talent and the drive to perform and achieve, said Kevin Nordahl, coach of the University of Montana Rodeo Team. The Dearborn Scholarship recognizes those qualities in our team members and rewards them for their success in the arena and the classroom.
