7 Cleaning Device ensures that the PTS Powder Transfer System can be cleanedautomatically, in situ, with the cover in place. A liquid separator installed in the upper part of thePTS body sucks liquids into the system - water orsolvents depending on the powder transferred. A float in the main cover prevents the liquid fromentering the vacuum line. The principle advantageover a spray nozzle is that it cleans the PTS bodyand the powder transfer hose at the same Cleaning Device is run with operational settingsfrom the standard PTS control AISI type 316L stainless steel.
