Before the applicator drills and treats through concretestructures ( , patios, porches, sidewalks, foundationslabs), first determine there are no habitable areas belowthat could be unintentionally contaminated by the treatment. Only protected applicators wearing personal protectiveequipment, as required by this product label, are allowedto be in the immediate area during application. All drill holes, in commonly occupied areas into whichproduct has been applied, must be plugged. Plugs mustbe of a non- cellulose material or covered by an impervi-ous, non-cellulose material ( , Portland cement).

If wastes cannotbe avoided, offer remaining product to a waste disposalfacility or pesticide disposal program (often such programsare run by state or local governments or by industry).

10 Container HandlingNonrefillable Container. DO NOTreuse or refill thiscontainer. Triple rinse or pressure rinse container (orequivalent) promptly after emptying; then offer forrecycling, if available, or reconditioning, if appropriate, orpuncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or byincineration, or by other procedures approved by stateand local rinse containers small enough to shake(capacity 5 gallons) as follows:Empty the remainingcontents into application equipment or a mix tank anddrain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Fill thecontainer 1/4 full with water and recap. Shake for10 seconds. Pour rinsate into application equipment or amix tank, or store rinsate for later use or disposal. Drainfor 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Repeat thisprocedure two more rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contentsinto application equipment or mix tank and continue todrain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Holdcontainer upside down over application equipment or mixtank, or collect rinsate for later use or disposal.
