Response: We ask Your special blessing on each of them as they undertake their sacred duties. Give them wisdom and health and strength for all the things they must do. Pastor: Grant that all of us may support them enthusiastically as they assume their positions and respond to their leadership with joy and thanksgiving.

2 Response: Help us to hold them up in our prayers and befriend them in every way we can. Let them know that we appreciate what they are doing, and are grateful for the ongoing work of this congregation. Pastor: Show us how to be better Christians, and to be more sensitive to others and to the ministry of this Church in the world. Response: Teach us to live as Jesus lived and to fulfill His teachings in our daily existence. Make us an easy people to lead because we are eagerly seeking to do Your will. Unison: And grant that we may love one another so much in Christ that our very existence as a Church will prove redemptive in our whole community, through Jesus our Lord.

7 Trinity Ladies will NOT meet this month. UMM Breakfast next Sunday January 20th at 7:30am, in the Activity Building. Blood Pressure Checks next Sunday January 20th. Children s Ministries will be held next Sunday January 20th in the Activity Building: Music Mates at 4:30pm; Kids Rock at 5pm; Youth at 6pm Copies of 2013 budget and committees are located on the table at the stairwell. January 22nd Keenagers will meet at 12pm in the Activity Building for lunch. Next Wednesday Night Dinner will be on January 23rd. *EARLY RESPONSE TEAM TRAINING Feb. 9th 8am-4pm in Greensboro, NC.

8 The cost is $30 (includes manual, t-shirt, and lunch). If anyone is interest please contact Jim Smith (588-4217). Deadline to sign up is Jan. 29th. (See bulletin board for more information). Harbor District United Methodist Women Southeast and Southwest Cluster Meeting and ALOTS (All Local Officer Training) will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Lake Waccamaw UMC in Lake Waccamaw. Registration begins at 9:30 with the program starting at 10:00 The officer training will take place after the general meeting. LENTEN STUDY this year is called The Way (Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus) There are 6 lessons taught on Feb.

9 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12, &19th. Each class will start at 7pm and end no later than 8:30pm. Sign up sheet is on bulletin board. The cost of the book is $12. Please sign up no later than Jan 27th. Question: Who is interested in a Confirmation Class this year? The class is open to all youth (12 yrs old up to 16 yrs old). To have a class this year we need 3 youth to show interest.
