MEMORANDUM TO: Department Officers District Commanders District Committeemen Post Commanders /Adjutants FROM: Bob Renner, Department Adjutant SUBJECT: MEMBERSHIP REPORT FOR MID-WINTER 2021. This time last year we were in 49th place, this year we are in 39th place which is ten places better then last year but we still have some work to do. We reached of our goal. Our target was 80%. We missed goal by 155! We are not that far off, let's start buckling down and bring in that membership. Our next goal is 85% by February 9th, let's help our Membership Chairman and the Department make that goal, I know we can do it.

2 If you have not held a district or post revitalization, please contact your District commander, Area commander or Doc Sheets, membership chairman. You would be amazed by the results if you actively participate in one. Notes: 1. The Department Convention will be held June 17, 18 and 19, 2022 (Friday, Saturday, &. Sunday) at the Wyndham North Little Rock. Please call the reservations number in plenty of time to get one of the rooms blocked off for the Legion . The Wyndham Riverfront telephone number is 501-371-9000. Room rates have been reduced to government per diem rates. Cutoff date is 05/26/2022 - no guarantee of the Legion rate after that date. Please plan on attending. There will be a Red-White-Blue party held Friday night the 17th the party is free.

3 2. Please continue to work with Evelyn on transferring members from Post 1000 to your post. Smaller posts can easily double membership rolls by working Post 1000. If you need a list for your zip code, call us at 501-375-1104. 3. Legionnaire Insurance Trust Accidental Death and Dismemberment FREE! Call 1-800- 235-6943 to sign up or check your enrollment status. $1000 to $5000 coverage is free. The Legion Care $1000 AD&D is 24 hour coverage while the $5000 AD&D covers you while on Legion business. It is free but you must be currently enrolled. When you enroll this year, you will not be required to re-enroll again. Just keep your dues paid up. It has been expanded to include Auxiliary and SAL members 18 years of age and older.
