2 To SSG primary zone: SGT with 72 months time in service (TIS) and 10 months time in grade (TIG). b. To SSG secondary zone: SGT with minimum 48 TIS (less than 72 months TIS) and 7 months TIG. c. To SGT primary zone: CPL/SPC with 36 months TIS and 8 months TIG grade. d. To SGT secondary zone: CPL/SPC with 18 months (less than 36 months TIS)and 6 months (less than 8 months) TIG. 4. Eligible Soldiers who meet the following criteria may appear before a promotion board between 20 April 2011 through 15 May 2011 as follows: a. To SSG primary zone: SGT with 71 months TIS. b. To SSG secondary zone: SGT with 70 months TIS (70 months to 47 months TIS). c. To SGT primary zone: CPL/SPC with a 35 months TIS. d. To SGT secondary zone: CPL/SPC with (34 to 17 months TIS). e. Promotion point scores for Soldiers attaining recommended list status during the month of 20 April 2011 through 15 May 2011 will be effective for promotion 1 June 2011.

3 AHRC-PDV-PE SUBJECT: DA Promotion Point Cutoff Scores for 1 June 2011 and Junior Enlisted Issues 2 SPC Waiver Information: The Directorate of Military Personnel Management (DMPM), Army G1 has announced the variable specialist waiver ceiling percentage is 17%, IAW AR 600-8-19, paragraph 2-5h. STURDIVANT SERGEANT MAJOR, USA CHIEF, ENLISTED PROMOTIONS PROMOTIONS BRANCH AHRC-PDV-PE SUBJECT: DA Promotion Point Cutoff Scores for 1 June 2011 and Junior Enlisted Issues 3 REMINDERS/GENERAL INFORMATION: 1. BDE/BN S1 and Military Personnel division s should be aware that as a result of the implementation of the Promotion Point Worksheet (PPW), read/write access to the PP (Promotion Points Update) and PT (Top of the System Update) screens in EDAS are being limited to HRC, and read access given to field users.

4 Information regarding accessing the C10 report will be available in a future Milper Message. See item #10 for POC information. 2. Airborne Promotion Advantage is now being applied to the PPW and will reflect as such for Soldier s slotted in a valid Airborne position. 3. S1 and MPD personnel and promotable Soldiers should frequently check the HUMAN Resources command Enlisted Promotions website at for newly released information regarding the new Promotion Point Worksheet utilization. 4. MILPER Message number 11-084, Guidance for the Revised Semi-Centralized Promotions System, Implementation Date, 1 June 2011 5. Promotion Point Worksheet Access (PPW)- BDE/BN and MPD level users who do not have access to the PPW are required to resubmit your request for access, using the updated request memo on the HRC website, , to prevent interruption or removal of your access privileges.

Soldiers are highly encouraged to update their personnel and training records. See your brigade or battalion S1 for further information. 7.
