2 Suggested levels of use are 3% w/w Speedcure detx together with 2 - 5% w/w amine synergist such as Speedcure EDB or DMB (quantities vary depending on individual formulations and applications). 3 Soluble in Speedcure BEDB in excess of 30% w/v at ambient temperature. Can act as a photosensitizer for Type I photoinitiators. Shows two major UV absorption bands. Allows for single liquid additive comprising initiator and synergist. Depending on individual formulations greater solubility can improve rate of cure, ink quality and reduce preparation time. Promotes surface curing of films. Absorption at 261 nm affords excellent surface cure of films. Absorption at 384 nm affords excellent cure in pigmented and thick films.
