1 Drilling Engineer Technician Job Description Title: Drilling Engineer Technician Revision Date: 6/5/2018 Reports To: Drilling Manager Job Location: Firestone Department: Operations- DJ field FLSA: Exempt SUMMARY: A brief description summarizing the overall purpose and objectives of the position and the results the employee is expected to accomplish. The Drilling Engineering Technician is responsible for managing operational data , performing quality assurance /quality control checks of data , tracking metrics and preparing data for submission. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the position that are most important to get the job done.

2 Monitor and review daily operational reports and financial data ( Drilling , Completion, Production and Facility Operations). Ensure quality and accuracy of data entered into Open Invoice and Wellview software systems, including daily interfacing with field supervisors on data entry issues. Prepare data for submission. Responsible for gathering, compiling, and manipulating data . Maintain integrity of spreadsheets/databases. Assist in entry of data into Open Invoice and Wellview software systems. Various other duties as requested by Operations and Regulatory staff. Cross-functional support for Drilling , Completions and Facilities teams.

3 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY: The specific minimum competencies required for job performance. Possession of strong organizational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Seasoned with API Recommended Practice and Standards. Strong understanding of EHS industry and company standards. Proficient in all Microsoft Office products. Proficient Peloton Well View user. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The scope of the employee s authority, including a list of jobs that report to the incumbent This position does not have any direct reports.

4 WORKING ENVIORMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The environment in which the job is performed, especially any unique conditions outside a normal office environment. Consistent with that of a normal office environment. Working environment is mostly indoors. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum level of education, experience & certifications required to perform the job. Associates degree in a technical field or 3-5 years equivalent work experience. Demonstrated ability to extract, manipulate and analyze extensive amounts of data and information quickly and accurately. Demonstrated ability to listen effectively, as well as speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings & styles.

5 Ability to function in a multi-discipline team environment. Ability to consistently use discretion and independent judgment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Open Invoice and Wellview. Organized with a strong attention to detail; allocates time efficiently; demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently with little supervision. Must be a team player and possess ability to work cooperatively with other teams.
