Dua'a Jawshan Kabir ﺮﯿﺒﻜﻟا ﻦﺷﻮﺠﻟا ءﺎﻋد

1 Importance of Joshn Kabir - Pdf .. It has been mentioned in the book, Balad al-Amin and the Misbah of Kafa`mi that Imam `Ali ibn al-Husain Sayyid as-Sajjidin (prayers be upon him) related from his father from his grandfather the Prophet of Allah (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) that this supplication was taught by the Angel Jibra il (prayers be upon him) to the Prophet (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) during one of the battles. It was in one of the wars that the Prophet (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) had taken part in which he had a very heavy and expensive coat of armor on to protect himself.

2 It is related that the coat was soheavy that it was hurting the body of the Prophet (prayers of Allah be upon him and his family). In this state,the Angel Jibra il (prayers be upon him) came to the Prophet (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family)and said: O Muhammad! 4 Khallisna minan-nari ya rabb Protect us from the Fire, O Lord. )2 ( ya say-yidas-sadat (2) O Master of Masters, ya mujebad-da`awat O Acceptor of prayers, ya rafia'd-darajat O Elevator of rank, ya wale-yal-hasanat O Guardian of good deeds, ya ghafiral-khate-at O Forgiver of evil deeds, ya mua'-ti-yal-mas-alat O Granter of requests, ya qabilat-taw-bat O Acceptor of repentance, ya samia'l-as-wat O Hearer of voices.

7 4 ( ya mal-lahul-i`iz-zatu wal-jamal (4) O He, to Whom is all glory and virtue, ya mal-lahul-qud-ratu wal-kamal O He, to Whom is all might and perfection, ya mal-lahul-mul-ku wal-jalal O He, to Whom is all dominion and sublimity, ya man huwal-kaberul-muta`aal O He, Who is great above all, ya mun-shias-sahabilth-thiqal O He, Who creates heavy clouds.)

8 Ya man huwa shadedul-mihal O He, Who is the most powerful, ya man huwa sareu'l-hisab O He, Who is quick to reckon, ya man huwa shadedul-i`iqab O He, Who metes out the severest punishment, Page 3 of 77 Dua Joshn Kabir Alt8/17/2011 ya man i`indahu hus-nuth-thawab O He, with Whom is the excellent reward, ya man i`indahu ummul-kitab O He, with Whom is the Original Book.

9 Subhanaka ya la ilaha illa anta Praise be to You, there is no god but You, al-ghawth al-ghawth al-ghawth [I beseech you for] relief, relief, relief . khallisna minan-nari ya rabb Protect us from the Fire, O Lord. )5 ( allahumma in-ne as-aluka bis-mika (5) O Allah, Verily I beseech You in Your name: ya han-nanu ya man-nan O Charitable One, O Benefactor, ya day-yanu ya bur-han O Judge, O Proof, ya sul-tanu ya ri wan O Sovereign, O Approver, ya ghuf-ranu ya sub-hanu ya mus-ta`aan O Forgiver, O Elevated One, O Helper, ya dhal-man-ni wal-bayan O Holder of blessings and manifestation.
