If no suchinstructions for washables, use detergent and hot and wash PPE separately from other CONTROL STATEMENTSWhen handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, oraircraft in a manner that meets the requirements listed inthe Worker Protection Standard (WPS) for agriculturalpesticides [40 CFR part (d)(4-6)], the handler PPErequirements may be reduced or modified as specified inthe HAZARDSThis pesticide is extremely toxic to fish and aquatic inver-tebrates.

4 Do not apply directly to water, or to areas wheresurface water is present, or to intertidal areas below themean high water mark. Do not apply when weather condi-tions favor drift from treated areas. Drift and runoff fromtreated areas may be hazardous to aquatic organisms inneighboring areas. Do not contaminate water whencleaning equipment or when disposing of equipment wash-waters. This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to directtreatment or residues on blooming crops or weeds. Do notapply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops ifbees are visiting the treatment area.

5 WILDLIFE PROTECTIONIS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITYUSER SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONSUSERS SHOULD:Wash thoroughly with soap andwater after handling and before eating, drinking,chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Removeclothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then washthoroughly and put on clean clothing. 6 FIRST AIDIF SWALLOWEDCall a poison control center or doctor immediately fortreatment advice. Do not give any liquid to the person. Donot induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poisoncontrol center or a doctor. Do not give anything by mouthto an unconscious INHALEDMove person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration,preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poisoncontrol center or doctor for further treatment IN EYESHold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for15-20 minutes.

7 Remove contact lenses, if present, after thefirst 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eyes. Call a poisoncontrol center for treatment ON SKIN OR CLOTHINGTake off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor fortreatment TO PHYSICIANIf on skin, after drying apply vitamin E cream or oil ifavailable. If not available, apply vegetable oil liberally overpainful areas. The oil or cream may be used repeatedlyuntil relief is xylene range aromatic solvent - vomiting maycause aspiration the product container or label with you whencalling a poison control center or doctor, or going fortreatment.

User assumes all risk from such non-recommended INFORMATIONASANA XL insecticide emulsible concentrate pounds of active ingredient per gallon. For the applicationsgiven below, mix the required amount of ASANA XL in suffi-cient diluent to provide uniform coverage (Refer to Use Tables).

10 ASANA XL may be applied by ground or aerial applicationequipment. For aerial application use the following directionsunless otherwise specified in this label: use a minimum of 2gallons per acre (gpa) of water, except in tree and orchard cropsuse a minimum of 10 at the recommended rates when insect populations reachlocally determined economic thresholds. Consult the coopera-tive extension service, professional consultants or other qualifiedauthorities to determine appropriate threshold levels fortreatment in your area.
