It is possible that this may beyour first experience as an ODL learner. Unlike the conventional system of education, where teachingand learning takes place in face to face manner, IGNOU adopts a multi-media approach to facilitateteaching-learning course material (Self-Learning Material) is the primary medium of instruction. It will also besupplemented with audio-video programmes. Further, teleconference sessions and interactive radiocounselling sessions will also be organised from time to time which you can take benefit from.

In case they want to seek admission for the next session, they have to apply afresh and gothrough the admission process and LateApplicationsIncomplete and late application forms/re-registration forms and forms furnishing false information canbe rejected without any intimation to the candidates. The candidates are, therefore, advised to fill therelevant columns carefully and enclose attested copies of all the necessary certificates asked for, andsubmit the form to the Regional Director concerned on or before the due RegistrationA student is permitted to register for only one programme in a given academic session. Violation of thisrule results in the cancellation of admission to the programmes and forfeiture of the programme , however, does not apply in the case of Certificate in : Registration fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
