1 ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED SCHOLARSHIP Summer 2017 Dear Students: Scholarships for Child Care at The McRae Learning Center starting May 30, 2017 and ending August 8, 2017 are being offered to single parents who are attending Wallace Community College Selma. These scholarships are for minor children between the ages of eighteen (18) months to five (5) years of age. You must meet the following criteria: 1. Must be a full-time student (12) hours or more full session only. If you drop below full-time your SCHOLARSHIP will be terminated the same day. 2. Must be eligible for Federal Pell Grant and showing need with an EFC of 0 . 3. Must be a single parent. 4. Must have a cumulative GPA of or greater and be in good academic standing. 5. Only one child per family can receive this SCHOLARSHIP .
2 These scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. The ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED SCHOLARSHIP is one (1) semester only and does not provide transportation, pay for late pick-ups or holiday/breaks. Please return this signed letter along with a copy of the child that you are planning to enroll birth certificate and your Summer detailed schedule to the Financial Aid Department. Upon approval your and your child s names will be forwarded from our office to The McRae Learning Center. You may enroll your child at that time.
