2 Manypersons having made complaint that they are unable as well on account ofthe distance and many dangers as of their impotency and poverty to suethem before the king within the realm, as it has hitherto been usual to doin the case of errors made before the justiciary of Ireland. By to R. bishop of Salisbury of the royal assent to the electionof Constance de Percy, a nun of the house of Wylton, to be abbess. By to R. bishop of Bath and Wells, of the revocation ofthe presentation of William de Kyrkeby to the church of Cheddeseyein the diocese of Bath and Wells, in the king's gift by reason of hiscustody of the land and heir of William de Monte Acuto, tenant inchief ; as it appears that Walkelin de Esshemerbrok, king's clerk, the rectorthereof, is still to the said Walkelin that he be not molested therein by reason ofany right the king may have because of his custody of the said land andheir.

3 By for Master Gilbert de Middelton, king's clerk, archdeacon ofNorthampton, and all his benefices ; he is not to be molested in thepossession of that archdeaconry in the church of Lincoln, or ofthe following prebends by reason of any right the king may have becauseof past voidauces of the sees wherein they are, viz. the prebend ofThame in the church of Lincoln, the prebend of Wallokeburn in thechurch of St.
