3 The maintenance of roads is not a once-off occurrence it is a continuous process to ensure optimal performance. COLLECTION OF toll FEES allows us to (amongst others): Clean drains to ensure EFFECTIVE drainage of rainwater Cut grass to improve visibility and reduce the risk of veldfires Seal surface cracks and fix potholes Maintain road signs and markings Respond to crashes and clean-up debris Resurface the road on a periodic basis Add additional lanes when : Discounts offered at specific toll plazas for frequent users, as well as qualifying local users still apply.
