SUBTITLE A SUBCHAPTER d SUBPART A: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Section Scope a) These specifications establish EFFICIENT and ADEQUATE STANDARDS for the physical plant, heating, lighting, ventilation, sanitation and safety for all new school buildings and additions to existing schools whose contracts are awarded on or after July 1, 1965. This issue and subsequent supplements shall become applicable to those school buildings whose construction contracts are awarded ninety or more days after date of issuance. Where subsequent modifications reduce requirements, schools, where applicable, may apply them retroactively.
