ELECT TO PLAN The December 11th Election is a general Election , consisting of runoffs from the primary elections held on November 13th. A runoff occurs for any Election in which no candidate received a majority of the vote in the primary Election . This is the rescheduled general Election for all offices of the city of New Orleans and Orleans Parish. It will also include runoffs for special elections held to fill vacancies in other parishes, municipalities, and districts.

Vermilion, Webster, West Baton Rouge, West Feliciana, and Winn. 1 parish will have a local proposition and a recall election: Ouachita. IMPORTANT DATES FOR THIS ELECTION . Nov. 10 . Registration Deadline (In person or by mail) Nov. 20 . Registration Deadline (GeauxVote Online) Nov. 27 . Early Voting Begins. Dec. 4 .

2 Some parishes, municipalities, and districts will have propositions on the ballot as well. There will be a recall Election in the Town of Richwood, Parish of Ouachita, and Catahoula Parish will have a special primary for Police Juror, District 3. No need to wait until Election Day.
