1 (1) EXPLANATORY STATEMENT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR, ENVIRONMENT, AND RELATED AGENCIES APPROPRIATIONS BILL, 2022 SUMMARY OF BILL For this bill, estimates totaling $51,284,970,000 in new obligational authority, including $2,450,000,000 in funds made available for the wildland fire suppression cap adjustment and $6,586,250,000 in advance appropriations, are provided for the pro-grams and activities of the agencies and bureaus of the Depart-ment of the Interior, except the Bureau of Reclamation, and the fol-lowing related agencies: Environmental Protection Agency DEPARTMENT of Agriculture: Undersecretary for Natural Resources and the Environment Forest Service DEPARTMENT of Health and Human Services: Indian Health Service National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry Other Related Agencies.
