This indicator can be connected to various load 400 INDICATORINDICATOR MOUNTINGThe EZ 400 has three standard methods of mounting the indicator plusthe optional RAM mount is Mount (Included)Wing Mount (Included)Wedge Mount (Included)Ram Mount (Optional)POW ER CONNECTIONP ower can be obtained directly from a 1 2 VDC battery or from a 1 20V or220V AC power cube that plugs into a wall outlet.
2 Attach the powercable to the POWER connector located on the bottom panel of the RED wire from the power cable to +1 2 VDC and the BLACK wire to GROUND. The indicator is fused internally at two all indicator leads before welding onequipment. The system is normallysupplied with aJ-BOX cable going fromthe scale indicator to the load cell J-box. Extension Kits are available fromyour dealer in various lengths. Toconnect the load cells, attach the J-boxcable to the LOAD CELL connector onthe bottom panel of the scale. Connecttheload cell cables to the J-box. 3 Refer to calibrationprocedures (page 10-11) or contact your Digi-Star representative PROTECTIONS tationary systems should use Lightning-Protected J-boxes that allowyou to install ground rods. This provides protection to the scale whenlightning strikes nearby.
