1 Page 1 of 2 2018 Reservation information - Falls Reserve Conservation area Falls Reserve Conservation area 2018 Overnight camping information Reservation and Campsite information A non-refundable reservation fee is charged to each site booking. A 3-night minimum stay is required if your booking Falls on the Friday to Monday of a Holiday weekend such as; Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic, Labour Day and Thanksgiving weekends. A 2-night minimum stay is required on all other weekends within July and August. Refunds will not be issued during this time period for a shortened stay. Once a reservation has been confirmed by either phone or internet, changes and cancellations must be made by calling 1-877-FALLSCA (1-877-325-5722) or by visiting the website. Please have your booking number ready. A $ fee will be charged to all site cancellations. Additional forfeit of fees may also apply to cancellations. If you cancel a reservation six (6) or fewer calendar days before your scheduled arrival date, a minimum of 2-nights fees will be deducted from your cancellation refund.
2 If the reservation included dates that required a minimum stay booking, the minimum stay fee will be deducted from your cancellation refund. If your reservation was for a 1-night booking, you will forfeit the 1-night fee amount. Campsite reservations are held until 2:00 pm the day following your scheduled arrival date. Reservations not checked in by this time are considered No Show with no refund issued and site will be available to other campers. Campsite check in time is after 3:00 pm on date of arrival. Check out time is 2:00 pm on date of departure. There is a maximum of 6 (six) people allowed to occupy a campsite including children and babies. Refunds will not be issued if you arrive with more than the allowed 6 people per campsite. Additional campsite(s) may be required if your occupancy is greater than 6 people per campsite on arrival, pending site availability. The permit holder must be 18-years of age or older and must be present on the campsite.
3 One vehicle permit is included with your campsite registration. All other visitor vehicles checking into a campsite must purchase an Additional Vehicle permit at time of arrival for an Overnight fee of $ per additional vehicle. A maximum of 2 vehicles are allowed to park on the campsite at any time. All other visitor vehicles must park in designated parking areas. New visitors are not permitted entry after 10:00 pm. You are allowed up to 3 pieces of sheltered equipment on your campsite if space permits (including a dining tent/tarp). Only one piece of sheltered camping equipment may be: a tent trailer, house trailer, motor home, or self-propelled camping unit. Renewal time is before 12:00 noon, subject to availability. After 12:00 noon, all sites scheduled to leave, or that have not been renewed, will be made available to new campers. All day-use visitors to the Conservation area must purchase a daily vehicle permit and park in designated day-use parking areas.
4 Day-use visitors are admitted from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily. All day-use visitors must vacate the property by 10:00 pm nightly. No refunds will be issued on Additional Vehicle permits. Additional Vehicle permits are not transferable. There are no refunds on terminated permits due to park eviction. There are no refunds due to inclement weather or insect pests. Radios or audio equipment are prohibited during quiet times. Please remember that loud voices can be disturbing to other campers. Please be considerate of others during quiet times. (Radios not permitted at secluded tent campsites). Arriving prior to 10:00 pm to set up your campsite is appreciated. Noise from setting up a campsite disturbs other campers during quiet times. If late arrival is necessary, please set up quickly and keep noise to a minimum.
5 Be considerate of other campers, respect the rules of the Conservation area . Excessive noise and/or behaviour that may disturb other persons is prohibited. Abusive or insulting language towards park staff or other persons is NOT tolerated and will result in termination of permit and eviction from the property. Alcohol Beverages - may be consumed responsibly at the campsite ONLY; alcohol is prohibited in all other areas of the Conservation area . At Staff discretion - any patrons found NOT responsibly consuming alcohol may result in the termination of their permit and eviction from the property. Illegal Narcotics and Drugs - the use of illegal narcotics or illegal drugs within the Conservation area is strictly prohibited. Firewood - buy locally and burn on site. Pests in firewood can destroy forests. Please ensure the firewood you are bringing into the park does not contain invasive insects or diseases. Bagged firewood is available and sold at the park Gatehouse.
6 Removal of dead or live wood from natural areas within the park for use as campfire wood is prohibited. A charge of $ will be applied to the campsite permit holder if wood from bush or adjacent site area used to fuel campfire. Garbage and cleanliness of campsite - it is the responsibility of the permit holder to keep the campsite clean at all times. Scattered litter is unacceptable and may result in termination of campsite permit. Garbage left on the campsite Overnight will attract unwanted wildlife pests including racoons and skunks. Campers must dispose of campsite waste at the Garbage and Recycling Centre nightly.
