Documents Required for Fuel and Maintenance Eligibility: Band 7 and above employees vehicle Allowed: 4 wheeler only. Maximum Tax benefit can be claim up to : 21600 INR(for vehicles < 1600CC) & 28800 INR (for Vehicles > 1600 CC). For perquisite Details , please refer to policy link above. Documents Required 1. Expenses incurred towards purchase of accessories, road tax and registration charges for personal cars are not reimbursable. 4 5. Personal Cars - vehicle insurance should be in employee s name. If it is in family member or other person s name vehicle insurance will not be considered for exemption. 6. Employee can t claim for Insurance Premium Expenses for more than one car. 7. Employee can t claim for Two Wheeler Insurance Premium Expenses. 8. vehicle Insurance can be claimed only once in a financial year 9. It is mandatory to attach the below declaration(failing which the claim will be rejected) :- LTA (Leave Travel Allowance) DECLARATION 2. Travel is within India only 3. Declaration claiming that employee travelled by the shortest route.

Family members claimed is limited to self, spouse, dependent children (less than or equal to 2 children) and any parents or siblings of the employee who are wholly or mainly dependent on the employee him/herself for support and maintenance. 6. Expenses incurred for sea journey, travelling by hired cabs/ taxis, and personal cars are not covered under this policy effective from 1st February 2013.
9 Note: Employees can raise claim for bills which are incurred within 90 days. Greater than 90 days bills can t be claimed. While claiming LTA expense, all your expense must be clubbed together and claimed under 1 single line entry.
