Plug the external adaptor in AC wall outlet after connecting to charger2. Place Li-ion battery pack on the base (image 1) 3. Move the contact needles (located underneath the charger) up and/or down to align with the + and - contacts on the battery (image 2). The charger will automatically detect + and - (polarity).
