Additional profiles are continually being produced to match new requirements. Profiles not displayed can be manufactured to order. Many of the profiles shown are no longer produced by the original fibre cement or sheet metal manufacturer. These profiles are still available from FILON Products Ltd.

Factory Assembled and Site Assembled, double skin, multi layer and wall-lights are manufactured by FILON Products Ltd. to match current profiles. For further details refer to the FILON RooFlights datasheet. Proprietary shapes are also manufactured for a wide variety of alternative applications. These include specialised products for water and sewage treatment plants, horticultural projects garage doors, wall claddings for cold rooms, flashings for domestic roofing, reinforced vandal resistant sheeting,etc. For further details on designs and specifications contact FILON Technical Services Department.

3 Profile Identification The profiles displayed in this booklet are primarily those to match metal and fibre cements profiles. These profiles are presented in alphabetical order under the main sheet manufacturers name. The key definitions used to dimension profiles are shown in Overall Width Cover Width Pitch Crown Depth Trough The Profile Identification Section of the booklet is designed to enable profiles to be easily recognised based on the following data : Pitch Depth Crown and Trough Dimensions Cover and Overall Widths For a more positive identification of any particular profile a rubbing should be taken of one full Pitch, plus a measurement of the Overall and Cover Widths.

4 These details should be supplied to FILON Technical Services Department for identification purposes. To take a rubbing, firmly hold a piece of paper against the corrugated edge of the sheet and by rubbing with a soft crayon or dirty thumb highlight the shape of the profile. This technique is similar to brass rubbing and is illustrated in FILON ProFiles FILON .. Product Range Sheets for building applications are manufactured in the following fire resistant grades : Grade 101. Grade 104. Grade 300. Coloured labels and nylon threads, permanently incorporated near sheet edges, identify the grade. When tested under conditions laid down in BS 476 Fire Tests these grades have been rated in accordance with Table 1.

Sheets are supplied in standard weights of , and Heavier weight sheets up to can be manufactured to meet specific structural and wind loading requirements.

6 For rooflights that are required to remain non-fragile for the life of the steel roof specify FILON SupasaFe Manufacturing Tolerances FILON sheets are manufactured to the following tolerances unless special arrangements have been made. A Melinex film is applied to the external sheet surface during manufacture.

7 This film provides a durable UV resistant weather protection for use in normal environmental conditions within Northern Europe.
