It addresses the job performance requirements and the requisite knowledge and skills. Applicants must be Firefighter II Compliant and Rope Operations Level Certified. The course is designed to meet or exceed the applicable sections of NFPA 1670 (2014), Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Search and Rescue Incidents. The class emphasizes the lecture materials by reinforcing with practical applications in a variety of scenarios including rescue, airport familiarization and fire- fighting techniques. Students will receive live fire experience and training in accordance with FAR 139.

6 Participants who successfully complete the course, pass the written and skills test, and meet all prerequisites are eligible for the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board) $775 includes book and lunch for four daysFAA 139 RECERTIFICATION LIVE BURN TRAININGThis five-hour class meets all FAA standards for recertification under FAR 139. Students will refresh their skill sets in use of extinguishers, aircraft rescue techniques and operation of hand lines in controlling an aircraft-related fire.
