Proof of Refugee Status/Asylum Seekers Permit (where applicable). Original Foreign qualification or SAQA approval If you are a FIRST time entrant into the DUT, the letter advising you of acceptance into your academic programme. FINANCE Payment for Non-Residence Students: Minimum FIRST Instalment: R3690 for Annual REGISTRATION (tuition only). Minimum FIRST Instalment: R2260 for Semester REGISTRATION (tuition only). Payment for Residence Students: Minimum FIRST Instalment: R7380 for Annual REGISTRATION (tuition and residence). Minimum FIRST Instalment: R4530 for Semester REGISTRATION (tuition and residence).

3 Direct Deposits can be made into the DUT Bank Account: Students who have a valid student number can deposit payments directly into the following bank account using the prescribed M65 (deposit slip) form. These forms are available at REGISTRATION venues and cashier offices. (Also available on DUT website at ) The M65 deposit slip will also accompany the accounts/statements posted. If you are paying by cheque, it must be made out to the Durban University of Technology and must be crossed "not transferable Sponsored Students: Letters of authority and bursaries will be accepted only from pre-approved companies.

4 A letter of authority applies only where fees are paid by a student's employer. Similar letters must be produced in the case of bursaries or loans. Employers should supply each student with a separate letter of authority.
