Fisher EH valveconfigurations incorporate proven techniques inflow-stream contouring for higher capacities and invalve trim design for reliability in severe temperature limits of EHT Valves can beextended above 232_C (450_F) by using PEEK(PolyEtherEtherKetone) anti-extrusion rings incombination with a spring-loaded PTFE seal.

4 ThePEEK anti-extrusion rings expand to close off theclearance gap between the plug and the cage wherethe PTFE seal may extrude at high temperaturesand pressures. The temperature limits are extendedto 316_C (600_F) for non-oxidizing service and to260_C (500_F) for oxidizing otherwise noted, all NACE references are toNACE MR0175-2002. Contact Emerson ProcessManagement for information on NACE MR0175/ISO15156 or NACE Cage Design Drilled-hole cages,offering excellent strength and additional resistanceto destructive vibration, are standard.
