Notification for Admission to post graduate diploma Courses in the Department of Defence and Strategic Studies For the Academic Year 2021-22. Admission for various post - graduate diploma Courses shall be done as per the provision of Ordinance 181-A amended, University Order.

Reservation: Reservation in admission of students to various & Certificate courses shall be diploma as per the norms laid down by the Government of Maharashtra from time to time including reservation for the person with disabilities/0rphan and Defence Personnel's Child/ Ex-Serviceman Child. Reservation for SBC category as per Government of Maharashtra rules. SupernumeraryQuota: Supernumerary quota for admission to post - graduate / graduate / Integrated/ Interdisciplinary courses shall be as per the provision of Ordinance 181-A amended, University Order. (Circular No. PGS/1821/ dated 14/06/2019). I n case of candidates who want to seek admission under supernumerary quota, it is necessary to upload the appropriate documents issued by competent authority at the time of application.

4 Processing Fees and Mode of Payment: Following fee is applicable for aplication of a single programme: a) For candidates belonging to Open category : Rs. 500/- b) For candidates belonging to Reserved categories : Rs. 350/. Candidates applying for entrance exam of multiple courses are required to pay the fees separately for each course. Payment should be done online using Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking etc. Instructions for Filling Online Application: Online application form is available on the website: Required Documents: Candidate shall upload the following documents with the application: a) Photo-copy of the statement of marks of the qualifying examination passed, if applicable (which is required for the eligibility.

5 Photo-copy of the statement of marks of the last semester passed of the qualifying examination (in case, the final or terminal exam results are not declared by the time of application). However, the statement of marks of the final (terminal) semester/ year of the qualifying examination must be produced at the time of admission. Page 2 of 4. b) Photo-copy of the caste certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra in case of Reserved category candidates (if applicable). As per Government of Maharashtra rules, reserved category students belonging to state other than Maharashtra (other state) are treated as Open (General) category. c) Photo-copy of a valid Non-creamy layer certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra in case of Reserved category (0BC/DTNT/SBC/Women) candidates (if applicable).

(For post graduate diploma in Defence Technology). Candidates are NOT required to submit printout of application/documents to the University after online submission of application. However, these documents in original have to be submitted to the respective Department at the time of admission.
