1 17 July 2020 TQL Confidential Page 1 of 2 ForeScout SecureConnector ForeScout SecureConnector will help protect your home personal computer and TQL s network while working over VPN. If you are using a personal computer that runs Windows or Mac OS to connect to the VPN via Cisco AnyConnect, this tool will check the security of your operating system version and antivirus software to make sure it meets TQL s security standards. (It does not access any personal information.) This applies to anyone who uses VPN and Remote Desktop to access their office PC directly, or who has the Citrix Workspace App installed on their personal computer.

2 If you do not install this tool, you will not be able to connect to the VPN. This does not apply to: Chromebooks, Android Devices, or iPhones, iPads TQL PCs or TQL laptops that are taken home or out of the office Those who use Citrix web for remote access ( ) To Install: You must download and run the installer on your own computer. Not in Citrix Desktop or on a TQL PC. Windows: Click here MAC: Click here You can also go to and look for the ForeScout SecureConnector Information section. After the download, you should see the file in the lower left corner of the browser or go to your Downloads folder.

3 Click the downloaded file to launch the installer. Note: Some Windows users will need to go to their Downloads folder, and Right-Click the installer, then choose Run as Administrator to get to work properly. After the installation is complete, ForeScout SecureConnector starts automatically. If it does not, you can launch it from your Start Menu (Windows) or Application List (Mac) and look for the ForeScout or ForeScout SecureConnector folder. Once the application is running, it will automatically check to see if your device is compliant. After the security assessment runs, look for one of these icons on your taskbar: Click the icon to see the results of your assessment.
